Sorry, last week’s episode was kinda crazy. I’m still recovering from it and a delay gave me an extra day. More after the break because Spoilers.
We start with Yu on a Bus and in front of him Marie gets up to leave. He tries to stop her and she looks a bit different.
She grabs his neck and transforms back in to boss mode, telling him what all she does in the grand scheme of bad guy things. There’s Fog. It’s magic. She absorbs the fog the other bad guys generated to keep it from spreading and when the last one was one-shot it all flooded in to her. Yu understands now why she’s doing and the Comb magically appears in his hand. Again, this time thanks to Margaret and her breaks out of this whole scene.
Standing up it seems like the Game Over’s been averted. He asked Marie to tell him and the rest of the group the one thing that they and all the One Piece fans watching this want to hear. “I want to live.” Now that they have heard that it’s time to kick things into AWESOME TERRITORY.
Everyone gets up and their Personas DOUBLE EVOLVE INTO THEIR GOLDEN FINAL FORMS AND TEAMWORK ATTACK BOSS-MARIE INTO THE SKY.
YU IS WAITING THERE, LOOKING MAJESTIC ON HIS MAIN PERSONA.
IT EVOLVES INTO IT’S SUPER MODE AND SWORDBLOCKS THE BLACK HOLE THAT PARTY WIPED THEM LAST EPISODE.
THEN YU JUMPS IN TO IT.
He’s in a bamboo forest and he has a katana, cutting through it until he reaches Marie, cutting her free.
The two of them then make it out to the rest of the party and Marie reveals the fact she’s a Load-Bearing Boss as the Hollow Forest falls apart. Everyone makes it out in time and the rest of the episode cools off with some Character dev stuff.
First a Snowball fight, well Snowball beatdown against Yosuke.
Then a Hot Springs scene that ends about as well the one in the original series.
After that there’s a flash forward to Valentine’s Day where first Yu has to eat some terrible-looking “chocolate” from Nanako before meeting up with Marie who gives him chocolate that may be alive. We never see it, but the box was beating like a heart.
And here we go. One episode left for nothing to… You know better then that. Final Boss time. Didn’t we already have an OVA of that?
